Where is “the end of our rope”? Where is too much for you? For me? That point where we “know” we can’t handle anymore. Not. One. More. Thing. The dyke is breaking. My finger. Your finger. Is in the hole. But cracks are forming. Water is beginning to seep from those cracks. Catastrophic failure is near. That’s when we need to remember. Jesus is ready to help. Wants to help. During those especially dark nights. Not – one – single – ray – of – light. Of – hope. Jesus is here. I’m exhausted – Jesus is here. I’m feeling sick from the Chemo – Jesus if here. My Dr’s news isn’t the greatest – Yes – Jesus is here. As Peter was sinking. The waters taking him for themselves. He reached. Out. And up. And Jesus’ hand wrapped around his. Lovingly tightened His grip. And pulled Peter from his “dark night”. And His hand is there for us. Take it. Trust it!
