Two days away from Chemo 3.0. Round 3 of this 6 round cycle.

Do you ever do something and wonder. Wonder if it’s doing anything. Wonder if it’s doing the right thing. Wonder if it’s doing enough. The diet you’ve decided to go on. The workout program you’re doing at the gym. I catch my self wondering sometimes. Not in a weird “freak out” kinda way. More like a child like wonder. Curiosity. Oh, I know it’s doing something. But that something – is it the right something. Is it enough something. Is it killing my cancer. Enough of it. Or is it just messing with the rest of me. The being tired. The slight neuropathy. The hair loss. Oh, it’s doing something. But is it the right thing? This cycle should hopefully give us an idea. My PSA remained stable between Cycle 1 and Cycle 2. Now – drop time. Remaining stable would be better than rising. But a drop. That’s the goal. “A downward trend in the market” as Wall Street says. I need that downward trend. Thursday. Praying for it. Not worrying about it – praying for it.

Then. Then after the prayers. Prayers that calm. I go back. To peace. Peace in Jesus. Because He knows. He cares. He loves me. That’s all that matters.

Because He is here. He is always here.
