What are you afraid of? What am I afraid of? Think. What is it? Why? Do we need to be afraid of it? With Jesus alongside – the answer is no. Fear doesn’t need to be a part of our lives. We can give 💯% of it to Jesus. 💯%. I especially love the line in Josh Wilson’s song things that I’m afraid of that says “The things that I’m afraid of, Are afraid of You”. That line. So real. Says it all. Not only do we not need to fear. Jesus won’t be fearful for us either. Because what we fear – is afraid of Jesus. How amazing to have that man. Jesus. Love us. Protect us. Let us live free from fear. Any fear. And believe me – I can tell you first hand it works. Fear my cancer. No. Fear the side effects of treatment – No. Fear dying – No. Why? Because I don’t need to. Fear has no spot in our lives when Jesus is there. Fear is Afraid of Jesus. Remember that. Always. I may have some occasional sadness. I may have some occasional tears. But fear and worry will never reside in me. I’ll take Jesus instead.
